Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place made for sassa intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
